In 1973, our chairman Joseph Shadmehr started working in hair transplant clinics assisting the cosmetic surgeons and dermatologists on transplantation procedures. After witnessing hundreds of cases, he realised that the quantity of transplanted hair is not sufficient for most of the clients, especially withwomen. From there, he thought of using donor's hair since crafting donor's follicles would be medically impossible. Armed with hands on knowledge of various transplant techniques and its disadvantages, Joseph started his research on hair replacement, that would provide solutions to all the problems faced by clients who undergo conventional hair transplant.
In 1975, he established our first hair center in Tehran. Putting together the combined knowledge and experience he had gathered over years, he invented Microweave®. It is a non detachable technique thatclients can enjoy a full head of hair without any side effects and limitations to the way they handle it, just like it was their own natural hair. Dealing with celebrities and many of the most demanding clients gave us ample room for continuous research and development to improve Microweave® to their comfort and satisfaction. .
In 1990, we started developing an avant-garde system which ran parallel on research and testing. Finally, in 1995 we took the biggest leap in hair replacement history worldwide and launched a system called Microdote®. It did not take much time for us to make Microdote® stand out from the competition and get recognised for the distinguished comfort and style we deliver.
In 1997, we started our center in Dubai headed by Reza Shadmehr and took over the gulf operations. Combining the vast experience of his father and his flair for creativity, Reza started shifting lanes to adopt himself to the style, comfort and culture of this region in his work. The rest was history, as every client carried an air of confidence the moment he / she walked out of Joseph Hair Care Center.
Today, we serve clients in the UAE, Oman, Qatar, Kuwait and Saudi Arabia. The vastly muti cultural, multi ethnic population in the gulf was immensely challenging as well as enjoyable.
