We’ve helped thousands of women reclaim their hair and self-esteem using our advanced Microdote® system. Over 60% of our clients experience noticeable regrowth, and many more see stabilization and reduced shedding. Unlike topical solutions or pills, Microdote® works immediately and provides visual results that blend flawlessly with your natural hair.

Our specialists begin with a thorough consultation, analyzing your hair's density, pattern, and texture. We match your natural hair with ethically sourced, premium human hair and integrate it using our patented Microlines®—fine, breathable mesh systems that allow your scalp to breathe and natural hair to grow.

With no adhesives or surgery required, Microdote® is ideal for women seeking comfort, flexibility, and realism. Whether you want to add volume, shape your hairline, or restore density to a thinning crown, our custom solutions are created to suit your lifestyle and look. Explore the possibilities through our real-life client transformations.

How Female Pattern Hair Loss Develops

Female pattern hair loss generally presents as a gradual thinning over the crown or parting area. Unlike male pattern baldness, which can result in complete bald spots, FPHL tends to reduce the density across the top of the scalp. This change is subtle at first—maybe a thinner ponytail or a scalp that seems more visible in bright light.

The condition often begins around age 30 and becomes more apparent by age 40. Hormonal fluctuations, especially after menopause, can accelerate the loss. In fact, by age 50, over half of all women show some signs of thinning hair. This thinning is largely driven by sensitivity to dihydrotestosterone (DHT), which gradually shrinks hair follicles, shortening their growth cycle and causing strands to become finer with time.

Internally, a cascade of hormonal changes, combined with genetic predispositions, alters the behavior of hair-producing follicles. These changes may start subtly—thinner strands, longer shedding periods, or slow regrowth—but over time, they accumulate. Your scalp may also lose its ability to support long, healthy hair. The follicles essentially miniaturize, producing shorter and lighter-colored hair until eventually, they cease activity entirely. Microdote® does not just camouflage these areas—it offers a functional and aesthetic correction.

In clinical evaluations, we have observed that many women delay seeking treatment until the loss is visible to others. Early detection and intervention with non-invasive options like Microdote® allow for a much more successful result. Our approach respects your natural biology while enhancing the health and appearance of your hair.

Hormonal Shifts and Female Shedding

Changes in hormones—due to childbirth, menopause, or stopping hormone-based medications—can lead to significant hair shedding. This is often a temporary reaction as the body adjusts. However, for some, the shedding persists and reveals an underlying pattern of loss. These shifts in hormonal balance disturb the growth-rest cycle, causing more hairs to enter the resting (telogen) phase simultaneously.

Microdote® can restore fullness even in hormonally sensitive zones, offering reassurance and control for women navigating these changes. Our custom-mapped application takes into account hairline contours, natural part placement, and flow direction, ensuring you leave with a style that feels and behaves like your own.
